  • Can grow as tall as 65–85 feet
  • Branches grow parallel to the ground (this tree can grow as wide as tall)
  • In the spring, leaves are colored a silvery-pink.
    In the summer, the leaves are a yellowish-green
    and then turn a reddish, brown in the fall
  • This tree will distribute acorns
  • Tolerant of a variety of conditions, however, does not fair well
    in extremely urban environments that are subject to soil changes or compaction
