Willow Oak
Quercus phellos
- Is a deciduous tree in the red oak group of oak trees
- Medium-sized tree that can grow up to 20-30m tall
- Leaves are shaped like willow leaves
- Produces a great deal of acorns
- Rapid growth and can tolerate sun and shade
- Sometimes grows larger than expected (do not plant near a sidewalk)
